UCI Neurodiversity Support Group
Neurodiversity describes the notion that people interpret and interact with the world in diverse ways, that there is no one single right way to think, learn, or behave, and that the spectrum of this diversity should not be viewed as deficits. The Neurodiversity Support group promotes the success of neurodiverse students and researchers at UCI. We meet monthly to discuss issues that affect neurodiverse individuals at UCI and build a neurodiverse community. We will meet in-person but people can also attend by Zoom. This event is supported by the School of Physical Sciences. https://sites.uci.edu/neurodiversity/.
For this meeting, we will have an informal meet & greet, discuss ADHD challenges, and brainstorm the creation of a Disability Cultural Center at UCI.
