Astronomy Club
The Astronomy Club at UCI is primarily made up of undergraduate UCI students and a few graduate students, who meet every week throughout the academic year to explore astronomy and learn about planets, stars, black holes, galaxies, and the expanding Universe!
ChemUNITY
The ChemUNITY Peer Mentorship Program, is a grad-to-grad volunteer-based mentoring program where two graduate students will be paired with three incoming first-year students to acts as mentors throughout the year.
Chemistry Club at UCI
The Chemistry Club aims to provide support for undergraduates at the University of California, Irvine, interested in the chemical sciences; we will promote scholarship, instill a mindset of career professionalism, emphasize the value of outreach, and build a community of individuals who will bond and grow—personally, academically, and professionally—in the field of chemistry.
Cosmetic Chemist Society
The purpose of CCS is to help develop interest in the cosmetic chemistry industry by exposing interested UCI students to the field and share opportunities in the industry.
ESS Club
The Earth System Science Club is an undergraduate student-run organization committed to bringing together individuals interested in the field of Earth System Science as a community. We are open to all majors who want to join the club!
National Society of Black Physicists
The NSBP is a new chapter at UCI and seeks to develop and support efforts to increase opportunities for Black and African Americans in physics and to increase their numbers and visibility of their scientific work. More information coming soon!
PACE (Physics & Astronomy Community Excellence)
PACE is a graduate student led mentoring organization that focuses on peer-mentoring programs by students for students.
QT STEM
QT STEM is an organization at UCI for queer and/or trans people who are part of the STEM fields. With this group, we hope to create a more visible LGBTQ+ community what an be an underrepresented area of academia.
Society for the Advancement of Chicanos and Native Americans in Science (SACNAS)
SACNAS is a society of scientists dedicated to advancing Hispanics/Chicanos and Native Americans in science. It is a national nonprofit organization of individuals and organizations interested in quality science, technology, engineering, and mathematics (STEM) research, teaching, leadership, and policy.
Society of Physics Students
At UCI, the Society of Physics Students is a primarily undergraduate student organization set up for the purpose of promoting the study of physics, assisting students studying physics, providing career guidance to physics students, and presenting research opportunities in the physics department.
Science Olympiad at UCI
Science Olympiad at UCI is an organization that provides support for the Science Olympiad regional competitions in Orange County and Southern California.
Underrepresented Genders in Physics & Astronomy (UNITY)
UNITY at UC Irvine is a representative body for all folks whose gender identities and/or experiences of gender have been historically marginalized in physics and astronomy at the undergraduate and graduate levels and beyond. Our overarching goal is to create a more diverse community and a supportive environment.
