Faculty across the School of Physical Sciences are invited to join the first The Institute for Meaningful Engagement Workshop led by TIME in partnership with Professor Joe Patterson from the Chemistry Department to learn about how to positively influence the persistence and retention rates of minoritized students in STEM.
About the Speaker
The Institute for Meaningful Engagement (TIME) is designed to facilitate institutional transformation by positively influencing the persistence and retention rates of minoritized students in STEM through faculty professional development. TIME will lead a workshop in partnership with Dr. Joseph Patterson at the School of Physical Sciences to discuss strategies advancing inclusion in and out of the classroom.
