The Research Development team assists extramural funding efforts for research and education producing scholarly impact and future leaders of the scientific workforce. Initiatives include the development of strategies to grow the Physical Sciences research enterprise; advisement on proposal development and interaction with funding agencies; cultivation of collaborative discussion towards multidisciplinary proposals; notification of strategic funding opportunities and funding agency priorities; and coordination of grant support among campus units.
