Professor Kevork Abazajian is interested in studying the origin, structure and composition of the universe and the fundamental physics governing it. He is a member of the Executive Board of the Center for Cosmology at the Department of Physics and Astronomy at UC Irvine. Prior to coming to UCI, Dr. Abazajian was assistant professor at the University of Maryland. He was Director's Postdoctoral Fellow at Los Alamos National Laboratory, Theoretical Division and was a research associate at NASA/Fermilab Theoretical Astrophysics Group.
