Matt Dickason
With over 30 years of experience in the specialty pharmaceutical, biotechnology, and medical device fields Mr. Dickason is one of few biopharmaceutical professionals who has fashioned a unique career working at the interface of science and business. Matt currently serves as Chief Operating Officer of ImmunogenX, a biotech start-up focused on developing therapeutic and diagnostic technologies for those with celiac disease. Prior to ImmunogenX, Matt founded and was Managing Director of Renaissance Associates, a Contract Research Organization specializing in post-approval clinical studies. Matt started his career at Allergan, Inc. where he held positions of increasing scope and responsibility in R&D (Formulations Chemist, Clinical Research Manager, and Project Manager) as well as Botox® Sales & Marketing (Global Medical Marketing Manager, US Product/Brand Manager, and Professional Sales Consultant). Matt graduated with a BS degree in Chemistry and an MBA from the University of California, Irvine. As a patent holding scientist and business executive, Matt has participated in domestic and international conferences, symposia, and graduate courses as a speaker on scientific, entrepreneurial, and marketing topics.
