Logging In

Logging In
To log in to greenplanet, ssh to gplogin2.ps.uci.edu or gplogin3.ps.uci.edu.  If you are part of the ATLAS group, you should use gpatlas1.ps.uci.edu.

Example, from a terminal window:

ssh -Y username@gplogin2.ps.uci.edu

X11
It will also help to have an X11 service running on your local computer. See here for how to get that installed.

X2Go
Session types "XFCE" and "MATE" are supported.
