I recently graduated from Williams College in Williamstown, MA (June 2023) with a Bachelor's in Chemistry. I am currently working at Stanford University asĀ  a biomedical engineering research professional in the Fischbach Lab. I plan to work here for two years and then get a PhD in Chemistry. Long term, I think I would like to become a professor at a R1 research institute where I can devote myself to both teaching and groundbreaking research.

Career Experience:
- Medical Research (collection of medical data, completion of extensive data analysis, writing the research paper, submitting and editing paper for publication)
- Organic chemistry research
- Polymer organic chemistry research
- Biomedical engineering research
- Math, english and science tutor
- Researcher and Op-Ed writer for medical Non-profit
- Figure Skating Instructor
- Volunteer group leader at a psychiatric hospital for teen patients
Affiliations:
Sigma Xi Honors Research Society
Personal Interests:
Outside of lab and my studies, I am very active. I love rock climbing, skiing, biking, figure skating, tennis and hiking.
I am also a very passionate cat owner (although I would count myself as both a cat and dog person), but either way, I love spending time with animals of all kind. I love farmer's markets and trying new fresh produce.
Type of Students:
I think that I could be a very strong resource for pre-medical students or science majors more generally. When I first started my undergraduate career, I was dead set on becoming a doctor. I was sure that I wanted to major in biology.
I think I can mentor a student through finding relevant research or general science summer internships as they pursue their passions in science.

Ideal Mentoring Relationship:
My strongest connections with mentees has taken place when I form a connection with the student that goes beyond just the content of our mentorship. When I know the person closely in all aspects, I am better able to help them.
I love it when a student is not afraid to ask me questions about anything on their mind whether or not they deem it "stupid."
My ideal mentorship relationship is having a strong connection with the students and seeing them thrive as a result.
