STEP 1 - ACTIVATE YOUR UCInetID

You can do this on the Office of Information Technology's website.

STEP 2 - CHECK MyAdmission PAGE AND SUBMIT ANY MISSING DOCUMENTS TO THE  OFFICE OF ADMISSIONS.

This includes submission of all Advanced Placement (AP) test scores.

(You will not be allowed to enroll in classes if the Admissions office has placed a hold on your record. That hold must first be removed.)

STEP 3 - WATCH THE SCHOOL OF PHYSICAL SCIENCES ONLINE ACADEMIC ADVISING PRESENTATION.

This presentation is approximately 45-50 minutes in length. Please watch the entire presentation, take notes, and pay close attention to the information covered. Students are responsible for all the information covered in this presentation.This presentation can be replayed over again if you miss anything. Feel free to stop, pause, or restart the video if necessary. Be sure to turn up the volume on your computer before you start to hear the presentation clearly.

STEP 5 - REVIEW THE PLACEMENT TESTING WEBSITE AND TAKE ANY NECESSARY PLACEMENT TESTS FOR PHYSICS, CALCULUS, or CHEMISTRY.

**Reminder for International Students attending ISPOP – You will take the  Academic English Placement Test at ISPOP in September.  The results will be available a few days after you take the test. Once you have your results, you will need to add a writing class to your Fall schedule. There will be plenty of time for you to add this writing class before classes begin on Sept 27^th. Until then, your schedule will not be complete. Remember to leave one class open so that you can add the appropriate writing class in September after you get that test result.**

STEP 6 - SUBMIT PROPOSED FALL QUARTER SCHEDULE.

Once you have reviewed the schedule of classes and determined the courses you'd like to enroll in for Fall quarter, email your proposed schedule to pssazot@uci.edu. You should also attach any screenshots of copies of your AP test scores if you have any.

Please follow the email format provided below when you send your proposed schedule. Your schedule will not be approved if your schedule is submitted incorrectly, which could delay your ability to enroll.

Dear Physical Sciences Student Affairs,

I am a new freshman student approved to complete Online Academic Advising. This email confirms that I have watched the online advising presentation and am ready to submit my schedule for review.

I have attached ALL Advanced Placement (AP), International Baccalaureate (IB), and A-level Exam scores that I have completed to this email. I understand that withholding any scores from the School of Physical Sciences could be viewed as falsifying important information about my record in a dishonest way, and could lead to dishonesty sanctions, including dismissal from the university.

I confirm that I have watched the online video presentation completely and am ready to submit my schedule.
