I am currently a research scientist at the National Research Center for the Working Environment in Copenhagen, Denmark. I research how workers are exposed to harmful chemicals in occupational settings and seek ways to reduce such exposures. My PhD research focused on using silicone wristbands as a quantitative tool for measuring exposure to consumer product chemicals, and I continue to work on expanding the use of silicone wristbands in a variety of settings to capture personal exposures. During my MPH at UCI, I worked with California EPA in the Department of Toxic Substance Control on the implementation of their Safer Consumer Products Regulations.
