B.A. Quantitative Economics (Magna Cum Laude); B.S. Chemistry (Cum Laude) Concentration in Biochemistry; Minor in Biological Sciences- University of California, Irvine (2017)
Ph.D. Biological Chemistry - Johns Hopkins University School of Medicine (JHUSOM; 2023)
I was an economics major when I first started my undergrad at UCI and later switched to a quantitative economics major. It was not until my third year when I decided to double major in chemistry, and I went straight to JHUSOM for my PhD studies in biological chemistry. During my PhD, I was selected as a Johns Hopkins-AstraZeneca scholar and spent half of my time doing research in an industry setting at AstraZeneca. Currently, I am a postdoctoral research fellow at the Cancer Research Cancer of HMS/MGH.
