Software Updates (12/10/01):
- Cambridge Software Database has a new crystal structure
visualization program, Mercury. To use Mercury, first you need to log into
model0.ps.uci.edu, then, type:
>mercury
- Gaussian is upgraded to version A11.
Please refer to the Gaussian web site under the software packages section
of the modeling facility site for proper citaion of the program.
- MacroModel is updated to version 7.1 from 7.0. Please
familiarize yourself with maestro, a new graphical interface.
Commands to use MacroModel version 6.5:
>macromodel65 or macromodel
To use MacroModel version 7.1:
>macromodel71
To call a new graphical interface:
>maestro (This uses
Macromodel version 7.1.)
*Soon, macromodel default command will
be changed to a version 7.1 from 6.5.
