In the winter quarter of 2000, Physics 131/231 will be an introductory course in using C++ for scientific computing and simulations. The textbook will be "Scientific and Engineering C++" by Barton and Nackman. It will be assumed that the student is familiar with Fortran or C and has some programming experience. The course will be offered in the 2000 winter quarter on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 12:30-1:50 pm in PSCB 220.
