CA Guidance for Institutions of Higher Education
October 5, 2020 - California released updated guidance for institutions of Higher Education. We are currently in “red tier,” but you can track our progress here.
UCI Contact Tracing Program - Executive Directive
September 30, 2020 - UCI has entered into an agreement with the Orange County Health Care Agency to authorize UCI to conduct contact tracing specific to the UCI community. Campus leadership has supported this effort by issuing an executive directive. Read more.
Flu Shots Available on Campus
September, 23, 2020 - UCI employees and their covered dependents who have UCI Health coverage can obtain a flu vaccination at the UCI Health drive-up testing site at Campus Parking Lot 70 located at 4600 Health Science Road, Irvine, at the corner of Bison and California. You may schedule an appointment through MyChart. The hours are 8 a.m. - 5 p.m., Sunday through Friday.
2020-21 Flu Vaccination Now Mandatory for All UCI Employees

To support the health and well-being of UC students, faculty and staff, as well as our local communities, the University of California, in consultation with UC Health leadership, has issued a systemwide executive order requiring all members of the UC community to receive an influenza immunization before Nov. 1, 2020. Assoc. Dean Penner Message on Laboratory Addendum to UCI's COVID-19 Infection Protocol

The UCI campus has a COVID-19 infection protocol described here. This protocol does not provide guidance relating to the operation of shared spaces of laboratories and offices occupied by research personnel. The following is the approved procedure to be followed in such instances. Read more.
