Paata Ivanisvili’s research interests include analysis, probability, partial differential equation, and geometry.

Ivanisvili received his M.S. in Mathematics at Saint Petersburg State University in 2011, PhD in Mathematics from Saint Petersburg State University in 2015 and another PhD in Mathematics from Michigan State University. He spent the summer of 2014 as a visiting scholar at the Hausdorff Research Institute for Mathematics. He completed postdoctoral research on Algorithms & Geometry at Princeton University and Kent State University. He was awarded postdoctoral fellowships for geometric functional analysis and applications and harmonic analysis at the Mathematical Sciences Research Institute.
