Ideal Mentoring Relationship:
I think of mentoring as a two-way learning ecosystem.
As a mentor, I get to be there for the mentee through their candid concerns about career choices and the path to take towards achieving them by connecting my mentee to different resources or folks from my network.
On the other hand, I get to learn about the different perspectives and trade-offs mentees bring to the table owing to their unique life experiences as well as expand my current network.
