VP Central Engineering
BS Physics, BS EE, MS EE, Phd EE, MBA EE
After receiving my PhD, I started as individual contributor in semiconductor device modeling which was similar to my PhD research at UCI and funded by the company I joined near UCI (Rockwell). Over time I expensed into technical management of central engineering teams. I currently manage a 760 member global engineering team supporting various engineering and operational functions at Renesas.
Renesas is a global semiconductor IC company providing semiconductor solutions for applications ranging from cell phones, 5G infrastructure, data-center, automotive, smart factory/city etc. Renesas is a global industry leader in semiconductors with about $13B in revenue.
Very career focused and enjoying my position within the industry. In addition of integration of our acquisitions and roll out of new technologies, I am starting to spend more time on talent recruiting for my group and mentorship.
Outside of work I enjoy spending time with my family, biking and playing tennis.
