
B.S Chemistry ('12)
After getting rejected from pharmacy school, I stumbled upon a laboratory position at a food manufacturing facility. The position allowed me to combine what I learned at UCI (especially the laboratory courses) with one of my favorite things, food. To be honest, I didn't even know the food industry was an option for me, but I learned so much and loved it that I decided to make it a career.
The move to the Cheesecake Factory was an opportunity to broaden my knowledge of the food industry. Currently I'm a Senior QA Supply Chain Specialist collaborating with Kitchen Operations, Culinary Research & Development, and Purchasing Departments to ensure the best ingredients make the best dishes to serve to our guests.
