Title:
Associate Software Engineer - Pipeline
Company:
Blizzard Entertainment
Education:

BS Mathematics, Specialization in Mathematical Finance - UC Irvine

Career Path:

After graduating from UC Irvine with a degree in Math, I started my career as a Financial Analyst at Blackberry. I then went on to be a Business Analyst in the Cinematics department at Blizzard Entertainment for 3 years (where I became a Senior Business Analyst). After a few years in Finance-focused roles, I decided I wanted to shift my career to something more technical, so I joined my department's Tech org as an Associate Software Engineer. My current role involves building a lot of tools for Artists and Producers, and the bulk of my work is done in Python.

Example of some of the work my department does:

Ideally someone who is interested in the tech space (Animation or Gaming even more ideal).
