Do you know what you're doing after graduation?? No?? Then come out to the Caree...Do you know what you're doing after graduation?? No?? Then come out to the Career Center’s last career fair of the year, which will take place next week on Thursday, April 30th!

The day begins with the CleanTech OC Showcase from 8:30 AM – 10:00 AM in the Student Center Emerald Bay Rooms. Students will learn about clean tech organizations in Orange County and what positions they’re recruiting for, all while enjoying a FREE continental breakfast.

The Spring Career Fair runs from 10:00 AM to 3:00 PM in the Student Center Pacific Ballroom. Students will have the opportunity to meet with over 95 organizations from a variety of industries.

Most events begin at 10:00 a.m.! This spring event features an outdoor Festival, Open House and Car Show. Wayzgoose, UCI's oldest tradition, is a student run festival in Aldrich Park - filled with live entertainment, food, games and rides for UCI and the community. Many offices and services will be open or available with information for everyone especially prospective students. This includes academic program information and sessions; campus, housing and recreation facilities tours; Financial Aid and Admissions; and much more.

Events are FREE and Parking is complimentary!

As one of the responses to this call at UCI, the MCBU program provides interdisciplinary training and research opportunities for undergraduates in problems at the interface of mathematics, biology and computational science. MCBU has two main program components:
1) undergraduate degree programs specializing in mathematics for biological sciences
2) summer undergraduate research experiences in paired teams of mathematics and biology students co-advised by mathematics and biology faculty

A great talk aimed at promoting diversity in STEM fields in academia by a well established mathematician at Arizona State University, Erika Camacho, equally famous for her research in the field of applied mathematics and for her social activism.
