UCI Professor Donald Dabdub will speak about environmental pollution and its effects on the atmosphere, animals, vegetation, and people. Specifically, this talk will describe recent advances in our knowledge of atmospheric sciences through the use of advanced computer systems, new developments of mathematical air quality models, and novel parallel computational methods and computational environments. During our discussions you will learn about some basic chemistry concepts, which will make it easier to understand how chemistry affects your everyday life and plays a role in our global challenges. Proving this statement would lead to the development of Modern Geometry and be used for Einstein's famous Theory of Relativity.
