2015 Reines Lecture - Frank A. Wilczek

Tuesday, February 24, 2015 - 7:00pm
Irvine Barclay Theatre

The inaugural speaker of the Reines Lecture was Dr. Frank A. Wilczek, recipient of the 2004 Nobel Prize in Physics for work he did as a graduate student at Princeton University when he was only 21 years old.

In his talk "Color and the Nature of Reality," Dr.Wilczek discussed how human perception grants us an entry-way into understanding a broad range of topics, from extra spacetime dimensions, to attempts to "cure" color-blindness, to the concepts that govern our most fundamental understanding of the world.  Over 600 guests attended Dr. Wilczek's talk, which took place at the Irvine Barclay Theatre in Irvine, CA on February 24, 2015.
