PostDoc: Breast Cancer Research
The Congressionally Directed Medical Research Programs is inviting grant applications for breast cancer research under seven different granting mechanisms, including Postdoc Fellowships.
The Postdoctoral Fellowship Award supports exceptionally talented recent doctoral or medical graduates in their pursuit of innovative, high-impact breast cancer research during their postdoctoral training and allows them to obtain the necessary experience for an independent career at the forefront of breast cancer research.
• As of the application submission deadline, all eligible PIs must have:
○ Successfully completed the requirements for a doctoral or medical degree, and
○ Been in the laboratory or clinical research setting in which the proposed research is to be performed for no more than 2 years as a postdoctoral researcher, and
○ A total of less than 4 years of postdoctoral research experience (excluding clinical residency or fellowship training.)
