Trusting the Physical Sciences Root CA in Opera 8.5 to 9.2 [back]
Step 1.
Click here to download the Physical Sciences Root CA Certificate to your computer.
Step 2.
Choose Save.
Step 3.
Navigate to your Desktop and click Save again.
Step 4.
Click on the Tools Menu and then click Preferences.
Step 5.
Click on the Advanced tab at the top of the window, then the Security category on the left. Click on the "Manage Certificates..." button on the right.
Step 6.
Click on the Authorities tab at the top of this window and then click the Import button on the right.
Step 7.
Navigate to your Desktop, select the file you saved before, "psrootca.cer", and choose Open.
Step 8.
Click Install.
Step 9.
Click OK.
Step 10.
You will be returned to the Certificate Authorities list. Click OK to return to the previous window.
Step 11.
Click the "Manage certificates..." button again.
Step 12.
Click on the Authorities tab at the top of the window, scroll down to select "Physical Sciences Root Certificate" in the list, and click View.
Step 13.
Uncheck "Warn me before using this certificate". "Allow connections to sites using this certificate" should be left checked. Click OK in this window, and the next two windows that you are returned to to get out of the Opera Preferences area.
