UCI Cal Teach Science & Math Initiative

UCI offers a comprehensive set of programs and services for undergraduates who want to explore and prepare for a middle school/high school math or science teaching career. These include:

1. Cal Teach seminars that provide fieldwork experiences to explore teaching
2. Degree programs with concentrations in Education
3. A Minor in Educational Studies with selected courses that provide a foundation and “early start” towards earning a teaching credential
4. California Teach Resource and Advising Center staff and support services
5. Ongoing workshops to prepare
6. Financial assistance programs for future math and science teachers
